Look, the truth is that I personally felt that it was rude to take the drum kits and the orchestral hit in the style of a sound canvas, personally I believe that changing all the instruments does not have major consequences, but I feel that if many people cannot live without sayings sounds, so that's why I'm attaching this alternate soundfont in case you like that configuration Reimagine your favorite DOS games with sound that takes you back to the 90s but in high definit...

Namco WSG General MIDI Soundfont

by 125scratch

Uploaded on Dec 12, 2023 (and last updated on Jan 15, 2024)

Inspired by CupheadKrasueHTFBewilderHouseFan!'s Namco Arcade Sound Emulator soundfont, this SF2 contains fitting replacements for most General MIDI instruments, mostly wavetable data taken from Namco's arcade games from 1979 to 1985, but with a few other fun additions from some other games, Namco or otherwise. Instruments are sorted in accordance to the General MIDI instrument list, so most MIDIs will play fine through CoolSoft VirtualMIDISynth or other software.

in 1998 our friends of Suono Elettronico sampled their own TR-909 and make it a Soundblaster compatible soundfont, now 20 years later I just simply rearrange it to make it more realisic adding some dynamics to hi hats, arranged the release and remapped some samples Original creator: Suono Elettronico The Suono Elettronico Page: http://www.suonoelettronico.com/soundfont.htm
