The General Montage Soundfont update contains 127 realistic instruments, 9 GS drumkits in bank 127, and 9 drumkits in the main drumkit bank, with XG compatible drums. Samples are from Bandshed Records Studio, Freesound, NeoGM, Bellatrix Orchestra, Versilian Studios, and more.

For those people (like me) who wishes/wished the GUS had reverb and chorus effects.
A rip on the presumed final version of Advanced Gravis's Pro Patches Lite "expansion" for its Ultrasound lineup of cards. Recorded with the original bundled software under an emulated Windows 95 installation. Some of the sounds were taken from other professional synths (eg. Roland Sound Canvas).
