This is a HiDef-derived Soundfont specifically geared towards the SC-88Pro MIDIs from the recent Pokemon Emerald source code leak, MIDIs which are far more accurate than even ROM rips, especially the instrument choices. The drums are from Charm by Strix Soundfont Team, with a simple re-arrangement of a few samples to make them work properly. The GB Channel 3 waves are from GXSCC, and were picked to specifically match the waves that RSE and FRLG use, except that GXSCC is do...

I'm stgiga, and this is my merger of my fix of the NESMaster96 GM remap of little-scale and drunkenjesus's YM2413 SoundFont with the Devan Wolf GM remap of the OPLL-2 bank from the Yamaha SHS-10, utilizing plgDavid samples. Thus this, in essence, a 2xOPLL bank, because the OPLL and OPLL2 are the same chip just accessed differently. The SHS-10 just uses custom patches a lot. This is actually a neat duet.

Maybe it's a goodbye then... I compiled every soundfont available on the internet in high quality (including some that were used in Colombo and Matrix) and the results: A HIGHLY REALISTIC GM/GS sf2. The goal is to reach the highest of a Roland GM counterpart with lookalike sounds. Enjoy! Oh, and there's some Anime songs and Covers in MIDI format for DEMO!

Smaller and more compact, the definitive version of the last soundfont I made, with Arachno and Live HQ samples inside! Enjoy! Update 2.5:Restored Fuzzy Guitar from previous version. N O T E: I do want a comparison between Arachno, Live HQ, the RLNDGM.sf2 and this one on YouTube, because it would show how close to Roland Sound Canvas the soundfont is, but I can't do it by myself. If you wanna showcase it, give credit to me, but you're not obliged to do it. It's all abou...

The Ghent Carillon

by Soni Musicae

Uploaded on Aug 24, 2015 (and last updated on Dec 30, 2015)

This sf2 soundbank, called the Ghent Carillon, is made with free samples found on the following site: http://bimbam.be/EN/klokken.html They are mono but good sounding, and respect the resonance of the 54 bells, from B flat to F, on 4 octaves. The samples have been converted from mp3 to wave, and regularly disposed in space from left to right, using the pan adjustment in the soundfont with Vienna Soundfont. In this belfry, there are no bells for the B and the C sharp of t...

Extra considerations: The soundfont was created by Soni Musicae but the samples are free and come from Ghent (Belgium) city's clock and were made available by a non-profit organization. The original site is now dead (but is linked here and can be accessed via Internet Archive) so most of the uses here should be okay.
