Another Ardour session. This is an old session from 2014 that I used as a demo in a talk about Linux Audio. I cleaned it up, used some nicer plug-ins and remixed the tune a little.
This session uses the following plug-ins:

Create Drumgizmo Tracks - Lua script - Ardour v3 + midnam

Creates audio tracks for the Drumgizmo kits. The ".lua" files goes to /home/[username]/.config/[ardourx/mixbusx]/scripts. It will be available in Edit>Lua Scripts>Script Manager. Select one of the "Actions" > "Add/Set" to setup. The "Call" button runs the script. It will create audio tracks for the channels of each kit.
The ".midnam" files goes to /home/[username]/.config/[ardourx/mixbusx]/patchfiles. This will create a "Drumgizmo" item on the combo "External Midi...

This Soundfont is a fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont. I, stgiga, fixed the pitch and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) because Micas didn't use drums. This Soundfont is a fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont. I, stgiga, fixed the pitch and mappings, and also added OPL4 drum parts to Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) because Micas didn't use drums. It's really neat and retro!

This Soundfont is a fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont. I, stgiga, fixed the pitch and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. Santos's YM2612 and Piconica (free basic waveform synth tool of sorts) drums were used to boost the range again, resulting in a drum range of drum note 22 to drum note 93) because Micas didn't use drums. This my merger and fix of the Hedsound MT32 soundfont and Hakerg's GM version. Hakerg had forgotten the fret noise which broke certain songs, so what I did to fix that involved me putting the Guitar Harmonics thing there. Also I did some link-related stereo fixes without affecting the MT32's special stereo. I also painstakingly made the SFX kit into individual GS SFX items, while also making Bird Tweet better. I, stgiga, made this layered mashup of the Yamaha Tyros 4 fixed Soundfont by Milton Paredes (which was fixed by RolandKnight) and the JV-1010 Soundfont. This results in a layered GM bank with snazzy timbre and it sounds really really good with many MIDIs. The acoustic guitar is really realistic, among others.
