Here is a realistic GM SoundFont that I’ve been working on.
This SoundFont contains realistic sound samples.
Most of them are from No Budget SFZs, Freepats, and Versilian Studios.
With 128 instruments, and 8 drum kits, and the mono instruments have been balanced to sound stereo.
Although most of the instruments contain stereo samples.
The next update will contain an SFX kit, all instruments will have dynamic velocity layers, and some instrument sounds will be changed.

Sounds come from Versilian Studios.
Great for Mexican, Easy Listening, Classical, African, and Percussion music.

Roland JV-1080 Drums (SF2)

Other than that, a few samples from Thomas K's Roland JV-1010 (Volume Fixed), Roland SC-55 by EmperorGriefus, and ColomboGMGS2 was used to cover up some parts that weren't covered by the aforementioned webpage. Assembled to be GM-Compatible, and I was able to finalize it within a single day.

HS Boss DR-550 Drums Soundfont

HS M1 Drums Soundfont

The complete Korg M1 drumset. The drums are organized as a standard GM drumset.
I have only created 1 GM set, although a couple of more could easily be made
by selecting from the avalible basedrums, snares and hi hats. All individual
drums from the M1 are included, though.

HS R8 Drums Soundfont

A drumset from the Roland R8 drum machine. The soundfont consists of two drumsets,
both organized as standard GM drumsets. Excess sounds (a couple of snares)
have been put in the octave below the GM bassdrum 1 (C1). This drumset was
based on samples freely available on the net.
