The Mini Colosal Organ

This little organ was born after the old DIY proof of concept worked, the truth is that I have always liked the emu organs that are included in the Magic SF and General User derivatives.

however everyone has wanted to have a real tubular organ sample in their soundfont, so I took on the task of looking for classic pipe organ sounds that if they were sampled for a soundfont, you know that european oldie jorgan disposition.

well, unfortunately without the reeverb because they lose a little bit of magic, but... note that they are sine perfect for looping, so after I combine all stop sounds and resampled the 3 soundfonts individually with all stops pressed, this soundfonts are: versilian, silbermann and jeux de orgue mocker.

So, afer that I would only be left with their most primitive waves and to that I applied an additive synthesis layering process using the soundfont itself, I must admit that I did not expect it to sound so good, until I tried it with some midis, you can even hear the flutes and the air

Ironically even though it is a soundfont that uses a synthesis process, none of the samples in this soundfont were ripped or resampled from any kind of synthesizers, neither created artificially by combining instruments familiar from the tubular organ using samples from recorders.

technically you are listening to a virtualized version of real pipe organs around the world that someone went to the trouble of sampling it for ya
