AVL Drumkits are a free GPL collection of sampled drum sound libraries in various formats recorded from two 'working' acoustic drumkits for music creation with MIDI sequencers or DAWs. The kits feature 5 velocity layers from each kit piece and also multiple instances of various kit pieces (ie tom center, tom edge). The samples were carefully recorded with a blend of large diaphragm condenser and dynamic microphones and each sample has been precisely edited.
